Brewing Our Tea

🏛️ HOW TO BREW

Brewing Like a Roman (But Better)

Subtext:

The Romans built roads, aqueducts, and empires.
But they never figured out tea.
Let’s fix that.

🍵 THE BASICS

Brewing tea is simple.
Don’t overthink it. (But also don’t mess it up.)

You’ll need:

  • Hot water
  • Tea (important)
  • A mug, cup, or goblet (we don’t judge)

🔥 STEP 1 — HEAT YOUR WATER

Hot. Not lava.

  • Ideal temp: just below boiling
  • If it’s aggressively bubbling, you’ve gone too far

Roman translation:

Warm enough to impress the Senate. Not destroy it.

🌿 STEP 2 — ADD YOUR TEA

  • 1 teaspoon per cup (or one tea bag)

Optional:

  • Add more if you’re feeling bold
  • Add less if you fear flavor

⏳ STEP 3 — STEEP

This is where the magic happens.

  • Steep for 5–7 minutes
  • Don’t rush it
  • Don’t abandon it

If you forget it for 20 minutes:

Congratulations. You made regret.

🏛️ STEP 4 — REMOVE TEA & ENJOY

  • Take out leaves or bag
  • Sip like you just conquered something

🧊 ICED TEA (MODERN LUXURY)

Rome didn’t have ice. You do. Use it.

How to:

  1. Brew tea hot (same as above)
  2. Let it cool
  3. Pour over ice

Optional:

  • Add lemon
  • Add honey
  • Add dramatic flair

🍯 SWEETENING (IF YOU MUST)

Our tea doesn’t need sugar.
But we support your choices.

  • Honey
  • Sugar
  • Whatever
